[19p-P11-6] Photoelectron emission under photo-excited state of organic thin films in air
Keywords:Organic Semiconductor,Photoemission,Photoelectron yield spectroscopy
We have been developing new experimental system to enable to detect (photo)electrons coming from a surface of organic semiconducting thin films in air by pulse laser irradiation. Its aim is to understand the electronic structure and dynamics of organic thin films under excitation, which are essential for various organic optoelectronic devices, such as organic light-emitting diodes and organic solar cells. Previously, we have developed a prototypical measurement system and confirmed that photoelectrons ejected due to two-photon absorption of laser pulse is surely detected, opening a possibility to investigate electonic states under various transient time. Here we present by using pump-probe technique that, in deed, long-lived excited species, such as excited triplet state, can be detected in a sufficient level.
