Atmospheric-pressure plasmas are expected to be utilized for various applications. We previously showed that the treatment of oxygen radicals in suspension of budding yeast cells affected both proliferation and inactivation using an oxygen radical source, which supplied only neutral radical species. In this study, we investigated the effects of hypochlorous acid on the growth based on the measurement of those concentration produced in the solution treated with oxygen radicals.
