An evaluation of neutron dose-equivalent has been carried out by using the self-activation of a CsI scintillator. In order to examine the measurements of I-128 activity for three different energy-filtering conditions, unfolding was done with three different energy regions (thermal, epi-thermal and fast) and neutron energy spectrum was evaluated at 10 MV X-ray Linac. The energy spectrum was directly used to calculate the neutron dose-equivalent. Similar procedure was also applied for Pu-Be source measurements. The evaluated neutron dose-equivalents indicated a good agreement with the measurements by a rem-counter.
