Charge-sensitive infrared phototransistor (CSIP) is a highly sensitive semiconductor detector based on double quantum wells (QWs). Due to the excitation mechanism via intersubband transition in QW, the CSIP requires careful design of photo-couplers. For archiving high performance for the passive terahertz near-field microscopy, we will discuss the optical properties of CSIP with antenna structures in the wavelength range of 10-20 μm.
