△ [20a-S622-4] Development of Near-field Reflection Microspectroscopy and Its Application to Metal Nanostructures
Keywords:near-field optical microscopy,plasmon,nanoplate
We developed near-field reflection microspectroscopy under an illumination-collection mode. For the illumination-collection mode, most light is reflected at the end of a near-field probe. Because signal light overlapped with the reflection light, the signal light should be separated from the reflection light. For that purpose, we modulated the signal light by changing a distance between the near-field probe tip and a sample surface. We used a multi-channel detector and a phase-stepping method for separation of the modulated signal light, and then achieved near-field reflection spectroscopy under the illumination-collection mode. By using this equipment, we performed near-field reflection spectroscopy of a single Ag triangular nanoplate. From the results, we demonstrated that our developed near-field reflection microspectroscopy was a promising method for near-field reflection spectroscopy of different nanostructures.
