We have developed high-speed scanning ion conductance microscope (HS-SICM) for studying dynamics of nanoscale structures of biological samples in a physiological condition. Because a scanning speed of HS-SICM is approximately 100 times faster than that of conventional SICM, HS-SICM would be a powerful tool for studying membrane dynamics of cells and organelles in a nanoscale spatial resolution.
