[20p-P11-2] Fabrication of nanoporous gold on the microelectrode

We have fabricated nanoporous gold(NPG) on the tip of Au microelectrodes for the scanning electrochemical microscopy, which diameter is 50 micro meter. The real surface area of the microelectrode expanded 27.5-fold compared to the planar microelectrode. The nanostructured microelectrode was able to immobilize 11.4-fold more thiol-modified ODN on its surface. A glucose probe using GOx found to have 14.8-fold higher sensitivity.
