Keywords:live cell imaging

In this study, we investigate the effect of the short-wavelength visible laser irradiation to specific site in living cells under the condition that the excitation light for fluorescent proteins has no influence on the cell viability and mitotic progression. The local damage within cell nucleus induced by a blue laser irradiation is confirmed to cause mitotic arrest and cell death.
