[20p-W9-2] Development of PET Data Analysis Tools

Hiroshi Watabe1 (1.CYRIC, Tohoku Univ.)

Keywords:PET

PET detects 511 keV of paired annihilation photons from positron and produces image of distribution of radiopharmaceuticals. Although PET itself has very high sensitivity and quantitativity, several PET data analysis techniques must be utilized to obtain proper information from PET data. This presentation introduces several approaches to get appropriate results from PET data.
