[21a-P5-5] Shadowgraph Measurement of Instantaneous Ultrasound Field with Acoustic Cavitation

Ultrasound field containing the acoustic cavaitation was measured employing the Shadowgraph method. The shadowgraph image showed a punctate ultrasound field with about 1 mm spatial period. In addition, shock wave fronts were observed after the bubble contraction. Therefore, the it wa concluded that the punctate ultrasound field was caused by the interference among the shock wave fronts from the many bubbles.
