Plasma-activated-medium (PAM) can selectively kill a cancer cells without killing normal cells. However, this antitumor mechanism was still unclear. In the last time, we reported about generations by the plasma irradiation and antitumor contribution of hydrogen peroxide and nitrite with focusing on the reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS). In this study, we investigated a new antitumor mechanism appeared by using scavengers for separating effects of RONS.
