Analytical expressions for equations of the complex conductivity of a superconductor derived from the extended Mattis-Bardeen theory are presented and properties of superconducting resonators are studied analytically using those equations. It is confirmed that saturation of the quality factor of a superconducting resonator at low temperature can be attributed to the gap broadening. It is also found that behaviors of a superconducting resonator at low temperature can be well predicted by the extended Mattis-Bardeen theory.
