光ファイバセンサには様々な測定手法があるが、中でも多モード光ファイバを単一モード光ファイバで挟み込むSMS構造を用いたセンサは構成が容易であるため、精力的に研究が推進されている。本研究では、プラスチック光ファイバを用いたSMS構造による温度センサの室温での温度感度に対して事前の高温下での保持（アニール）が与える影響について実験的に評価した。その結果、アニール温度の上昇に伴い温度感度が向上した。
