[21p-P12-15] Radiation-induced phenomena observed in Sm-doped ZnO-P₂O₅ glasses and the possible use for radiation measurements

Rare earth doped phoshors are used in a wide range of applications. Particularly, for radiation sensing applications, they are used by means of converting radiation photons to UV, visible, or NIR photons. In this research, we have synthesized Sm-doped ZnO-P₂O₅ glasses by a melt-quenching technique, and we have comprehensively characterized the radiation-induced optical absorption, scintillation, and storage phosphor properties and discussed for the used in radiation measurements.
