The wearable sensors for measuring the vital signs are in attention. We have proposed the capacitance measurement via the skin. Here, the electrode placement is improved for stabilizing the static and dynamic signals. (a) Static signal: Keeping the posture same, the respiration is observed as the cyclic capacitance change. Its baseline is found out to decrease when the subject is hungry. For the period of week or month, in which the subject’s proportion is considered to be same, the capacitance value is expected to show a kind of body condition. (b) Dynamic signal: The respiration is detected during the exercise of bending the body forward and backward with the suppressed baseline change.
