下水処理場で発生する消化ガスは，CH₄およびCO₂を主成分とし，再生可能エネルギーの1つとして注目されている。消化ガスにはH₂Sが含まれるため，有効利用には脱硫が不可欠である。本発表では，放電プラズマ中の高エネルギー種および活性種を用いて消化ガスを処理したときのH₂Sの脱硫特性を調査した結果を報告する。
