In this study, surface modification using nitrogen and hydrogen plasma succeeded in reducing work function of graphene oxide (GO). Controlling work function of electrodes can modulate device’s characteristics. Pentacene FET devices were fabricated with the GO electrodes, and the relationship between GO work function and FET characteristics was investigated. Our study showed the reducing work function of GO electrodes induced an ambipolar tendency in the p-type pentacene FET.
