[21p-W531-3] Theoretical Study of Photovoltaic Mechanisms of Organic Photovoltaics

Hiroyuki Tamura1 (1.Tohoku Univ.)

Keywords:Organic Photovoltaics,Exciton,Charge Separation

We introduce our recent theoretical studies of organic photovoltaics, in particular, charge separation at donor-acceptor interfaces, as well as singlet fission of photogenerated exciton.
We investageate charge separation mechanisms at polymer/fullerene interfaces enhanced by charge delocalization and hot exciton.
Further, we investigate basic machanisms of singlet fission which enable multiple electron-hole generation from a single photon.
