[22a-H113-5] A study on measurement of surface spontaneous polarization by scanning nonlinear dielectric potentiometry
Keywords:scanning nonlinear dielectric microscopy,spontaneous polarization,permanent dipole
Scanning nonlinear dielectric potentiometry (SNDP) is a potentiometric extension of scanning nonlinear dielectric microscopy (SNDM). SNDP can quantitatively measure electric potentials especially induced by spontaneous polarization on surfaces and interfaces. We show the potential measured by SNDP varies as a function of the tip-sample distance and this variation can be useful for the quantitative estimation of spontaneous polarization on surfaces.
