We try to increase thermoelectric figure of merit ZT of MnSi1.7 by fabricating nanocomposite structures. In this study, dependence of thermoelectric properties on Ge amount was investigated in nanocomposite of MnSi1.7 with SiGe. Both the thermal conductivity and electrical resistance decrease with the Ge amount, while the Seebeck coefficient is almost unchanged. Thus, increase of Ge amount is clarified to be effective for increase of the ZT.
