Two-dimensional materials have attracted attention in recent years as materials that can develop innovative devices because of their excellent electrical properties. In particular, the high carrier mobility and saturation velocity of single-layer graphene could push the limit of high-frequency devices. In this paper, we report on the fabrication and electrical characterization results of newly developed gate tunable graphene lateral tunnel diodes to realize a low power consumption device operating at a low voltage.
