Fullerene has been expected to be applied as an n-type material to organic solar cells, thin film transistors and so on. Since it is physically stable and insoluble in water and organic solvents, then derivatives such as PCBM have been synthesized and used. We have studied thin film formation of fullerene by mist vapor deposition method which can form a film under atmospheric pressure. Moreover, a fine liquid particle is generated by ultrasonic, so that it is possible to form a uniform thin film over a large area. As a result of experiments the film formation using a benzene derivatives solvent such as toluene, though a uniform thin film was formed, innumerable minute rings were formed on the surface. In this study, we used two types of solvents to control generation of the small ring-like droplet marks formed on the surface. Especially, it was confirmed that changing the mixing ratio of the solvents, the surface morphology has changed.
