[6a-C13-9] Proposal of short, low-loss, and broadband on-chip linear optics logic gates

We propose 3 um-long, low-loss, and broadband on-chip Si linear optic logic gates that would be a key device enhancing a potentiality for low-latency optoelectric computation system, which may exceed physical limitations in CMOS. The device has 3 input ports and one of them is for an out-of-phase bias input. Under the range of 1.4 – 1.7 um, it shows loss-less operation with the contrast of 9.
