The FeF3 cathode material has been expected as one of the new generation batteries because it undergoes a conversion reaction accommodates more than one electron. However, little is known about the mechanism involved in the conversion reaction, in particular, the relationship between degradation after cycles and reaction products. We prepared a series of materials after charge/discharge profile and investigated their magnetic properties to estimate the particle size of Fe nanoparticles.
