We have already developed a brand new thermal diffusivity measurement method, in this method thermal diffusivity was measured from infrared movie data. The model of thermal conduction was constructed by taking into account the thermal conduction other than thermal conduction in the sample. On the basis of this thermal conduction model, the analytical equation for calculating thermal diffusivity was derived. For the two situations were considered. One is one-dimensional conduction with micro-heater and the other is two-dimensional conduction with LASER heating.
