[8p-S21-12] Transient absorption of TiO2 thin film sputtered on two-dimensional crystal of gold nanoparticles

Multilayer of titanium dioxide and gold nanoparticles were deposited onto glass substrate and measured its extinction and transient absorption. The gold nanoparticle was first deposited on silane-treated glass by wet process. Then the titanium dioxide was deposited on the sample by magnetron sputtering method. The film thickness was measured from reflection spectra. Transient absorption study provides that the lifetime of the electron depends on the film thickness of the titanium dioxide.
