A laser coating machine, which combined six diode laser modules on focusing spot, was designed with a power feeding at a center nozzle for a precisely and low-heat input coating. In order to clarify a mechanism of laser coating, the dynamics of melt and solidification for powder were observed in real time with an X ray.
