[14a-513-7] Quadrupole coupling tensor analysis by using magnetically oriented microcrystal array

We fabricated magnetically oriented microcrystal array (MOMA) of potassium sodium tartrate (Rochelle salt) from the microcrystalline powder by using a frequency-modulated rotating magnetic field. Solid-state 23Na NMR measurements were performed for the MOMA without magic angle spinning using a single-crystal probe. The present results demonstrate that the MOMA method can provide a powerful means of determining all of the information on quadrupole coupling tensor from a microcrystalline powder.
