Vertical Bridgeman technique enables crystal growth under low temperature gradient compared to the Czochralski method, and can be expected to reduce lineage and cracks. Therefore, we investigated the growth of single crystal of lithium tantalate (LiTaO3) by Vertical Bridgeman technique and succeeded.
