A series of pyrimidine-based deep blue TADF emitters called Ac–XMHPM (X=1,2, and 3) are developed. Ac–XMHPM-based organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) were fabricated. Among them, the Ac–3MHPM-based device exhibited deep-blue emission with Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage chromaticity coordinates (CIE) of (0.16, 0.15), a low turn-on voltage of 3.25 V, very high external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 18%, and a high power efficiency of 20 lm W–1, which are the highest values comparable to those of blue TADF-OLEDs ever reported.
