Collective oscillations of free electrons in metal, that is, localized surface plasmons, enable controlling light at deep subwavelength scale. Here, I will talk about the recent progress on light-driven nanomotor by designed plasmons for controlling light scattering. In addition, I will present my previous researches with respect to optical force based on the nanofocusing effect by nanogap-plasmons between metal nanoparticles.
