[14p-413-8] Imaging and Manipulation of Local Optical Chirality in Metal Nanostructures

Hiromi Okamoto1 (1.Inst. Mol. Sci.)

Keywords:optical manipulation, chirality, plasmon

In optical manipulation of nanomaterials, full utilization of resonance and nonlinear effects of the materials, and the polarization characteristics accompanied with them, greatly extends the degree of manipulation freedom. The use of localized plasmon resonances excited on metal nanostructures may also enable manipulation in nano-scale space. In this talk, we describe near-field imaging of polarization characteristics of chiral plasmons on metal nanostructures and manipulation of them.
