[14p-E205-4] Size expansion of PbS quantum dots by silica coating for position control

Currently, quantum information communication which deals with information transmission quantum mechanically is attracting attention, and one promising material to be used is quantum dot (QD). For the realization of the quantum circuit, the nanohole fabrication technology capable of controlling the position of one QD has been realized. However, it is difficult to make nanoholes of QD size, and it is impossible to control arrangement by grain size. In this research, we aimed to enable arbitrary placement of QD and developed a technology that can control the size of PbS QD by silica coating.
