[14p-P10-65] Evaluation of interlayer exchange coupling constant in the interface of a ferromagnetic bilayer by a magneto-torque measurement

We prepared bilayer thin films composed of cobalt ferrite and maghemite by a reactive magnetron sputtering technique. The cobalt ferrite showed perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and the maghemite showed in-plane magnetic anisotropy.
We measured the magnetic torque curves, and tried to quantify the exchange coupling constant of the bilayers by fitting the torque curves taking into account of the magnetic anisotropy energy, the Zeeman energy and the exchange coupling energy.
