Improvement of energy conversion efficiency on a thermoacoustic prime mover (PM) is required to generate work flow with low dissipation. In the previous study, increase of work flow generation with controlling the temperature distribution in the PM stack has been reported. Increased work flow generation is thought to improve the heat pump effect. In this report, we investigated the influence of the controlling the temperature distribution in the PM stack on the cooling capacity in the thermoacoustic cooling system.
