High finesse optical cavities are utilized for high-sensitivity measurements in the wide field of science, and also attract attention as a device realizing the power enhancement of laser. However, there was a limit on the finesse which can be used since the such cavities are difficult to maintain the resonance. Recently we developed a new cavity system which maintains the resonance without external control. The power enhancement of about 200,000 times was achieved.
