[15p-422-9] Low Power Consumption Operation of QD-DFB under Wide Temperature Range

We designed and fabricated a quantum dot DFB laser for low power consumption operation under wide temperature range. We designed wavelength detuning between quantum dot gain peak and DFB wavelength for 85ºC operation, and we achieved 10mW output and single mode operation from 20ºC to 85ºC with temperature insensitive low power consumption operation.
