Keywords:surface enhanced resonance Raman scattering (SERRS), strong coupling, multiple-molecular exciton

Plasmonic resonance is considerably modulated at a hotspot of surface enhanced resonance Raman scattering (SERRS) at a metallic nanoparticle dimer junction through strong coupling between plasmon resonance and electronic transition resonance of single molecule. The effect has been expected to be applied to cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In this work, we calculate the strong coupling by a coupled oscillator model in which single molecule is treated as a multiple level system not a two level system according to the absorption spectrum. The calculations are well reproduced experimental.
