△ [15p-F206-12] Control of thermal conductivity in WO3 film by hydrogen intercalation/deintercalation
Keywords:thermal conductivity, film, metal-insulator transition
We are developing “thermal switching materials”, whose thermal conductivity varies over a wide range quickly and reversibly. Hydrogens can be intercalated into WO3 film, and a metal-insulator transition (MIT) is induced by hydrogen intercalation. Therefore, we report the thermal conductivity changes in WO3 film associated with hydrogen intercalations. The thermal conductivity increased markedly with increasing x above x=0.34. The hydrogen content of x=0.34 is close to that of MIT. In addition, we report about the reversibly change of thermal conductivity.
