For a transmitter for terahertz communication, we have proposed the possibility of a transmitter configuration utilizing a relaxation oscillation mode (RO) rather than a sinusoidal mode of a resonant tunneling diode. In the report, design policy to control RO mode is theoretically analyzed and reported.
