[15p-P10-5] Frequency stabilization using a narrow-linewidth diode laser at 1.5 μm

We demonstrate high-precision spectroscopy of acetylene using a narrow-linewidth diode laser at 1.5 μm. The Doppler-free spectroscopy of acetylene is based on the modulation transfer technique. Modulation-free laser output is obtained with a linewidth of several 10 kHz and a stability of 3.6×10-12 (averaging time = 1 s).
