We demonstrated highly efficient conductive polymer PEDOT:PSS/c-Si heterojunction solar cells with efficiencies of 13-15% use spincoated PEDOT:PSS on top of flat N-type Si(100) substrates. Compare with conventional Si solar cells, these devices show lower short-circuit current densities and PV stabilities due to optical losses at emitter side and polymer degradation under UV photons from solar light. In this study, we present a solution-processed PEDOT:PSS/c-Si heterojunction solar cell with a unique back contact structureto overcome the UV degradation of conjugated PEDOT:PSS polymer and incident loss of top side, both electrodes shadows and absorption of polymers.
