Field effect transistors using liquid crystal phthalocyanine thin films fabricated by the bar-coating method. The bar-coated thin films were confirmed to be uniform and uniaxially oriented by polarized optical microscopy. The hole mobility was evaluated by the transfer characteristic, and the electrical anisotropy was discussed by the comparison of the measured and calculated value, which was simulated by the density functional theory.
