We have succeeded in measuring local critical current (Ic) variation in PLD processed 40-m-long coated conductors (CCs) up to 4 T of external fields at 77 K and sub-cooled LN temperature. These results allow us to clarify the limiting factor of in-field Ic fluctuation in the long length CCs. Influence of process conditions for introducing artificial pinning centers is also discussed from the view point of statistical variation of the Ic distribution.
