Development of next-generation DNA sequencers using nanopore is expected to advance the genomic medicine. However the translocation of a moderately long DNA molecule through a nanopore cause clogging at the pore. We have directly observed the interactions between nanopores and various DNA molecules using fluorescent microscopy.
