[16a-P2-9] Development of quadrupole-electrode integrated pore-device for single-particle measurement and manipulation by dielectrophoresis

We fabricated a pore device with multi-electrodes arranged near the pore. By applying the alternating electric field between each of the quadrupole-electrodes, we investigated the detection efficiency of the single particle passing through the pore while controlling the behaviors of the single particle around the pore by the dielectrophoretic force. When using polystyrene particles as a sample, we succeeded in controlling the detection frequency of particles under the negative electrophoresis.
