[16a-P3-8] Evaluation system for atmospheric pressure in oral cavity
Keywords:Medical application, Ability for swallowing, Pressure sensor
Today, a method to evaluate ability for swallowing with a high quantitative and a high accuracy is required. Referring a paper, a new evaluation system which measure atmospheric pressure in oral cavity is proposed. However, the system is expensive and large-scale because it’s made of large components. In my study, we propose a new system for a low price and small measuring device which can be used in clinical site. I fabricated a prototype system and wrote a program. The system consists of small components include a pressure sensor with a tube for 1.8mm, two operational amplifier, a microcomputer and a display. By the measurement, the voltage value is same as a designed value. The program has a role to average measured voltages and plot graph on display. I confirmed that the system has an ability of a pressure measurement during inhalation and exhalation.
