We have fabricated α-MnO2 nanoparticles by coated with amphiphilic copolymers having catechol gropes in hydrophobic organic solvents. We prepared hierarchic porous films (honeycomb films) composed of α-MnO2 nanoparticles by the breath figure technique. Obtained honeycomb films were used as supercapacitor electrodes and shown high performance.
