[16p-B5-12] Linear Regression Analysis of Band-Gap Energies of Semiconducting Silicides

This study concerns materials informatics, where a given materal property can be analyzed by mathematical statistic methods. We have investugated band-gap energyies of semicondcutiing silicides using statistic analysis such as Elastic Net regulation and Generalized Linear Regrassion methods. The most suitable linear regrassion model consisting of shirinked descriptors like electronegativity, melting point, atomic number, psued potential radius, peridoc table number of elements can be obtained from the statistic evauation.
