[16p-F203-1] [INVITED] Solution-based Molecular Surface Treatments on Transition Metal Dichalcogenides

In this presentation, I will show our results for controlling carrier behavior of MX₂ (M = transition metals, X = chalcogen atoms) via molecular surface treatments. Especially, I will focus on the following two topics; 1) carrier doping of MoS₂ via a redox-active molecular surface treatment and 2) improvement of quantum yield of monolayer MoS₂ from 1% to ~100% with a surface superacid molecular treatment.
